Getting My Pretty Back hosts every year her Annual Weekend Conference. It's an event designed to allow for the fellowship of women embracing the true trinity of living whole and free. Getting My Pretty back operates from the premise that if we accept and embrace the essence of mind, body, and spirit we can be made whole while living a fruitful and purposeful life.

Our Third Annual Weekend Conference convenes with the operational theme...

"ENGAGED TO SUCCEED"

Once again we set sail on the contagious energy of Carnival Cruise Lines to Mexico. The Annual Weekend Conference has been purposely designed for its participants to experience a moment of respite find their core and embrace a rejuvenation of energy that enables you to create in a more positive atmosphere of inner peace upon your return. Their is no comparison of fun regarding this cruise lines to others but it still allows for the members of Getting My Pretty Back to have the quiet peaceful blissful moments to find and accept your wholeness once again. This is the opportunity you've been searching for to be surrounded by women who collectively want each other succeed and openly encourages her sisters to continue on life's journey. The ultimate goal is for each participant to receive and live in their breakthrough experience.

The "Engaged To Succeed" Annual Weekend Conference Itinerary

Friday Evening: The Official Welcome Meet & Greet The Bachelorette' Party

You may board the ship as early as 12:00. We set sail out of Long Beach, California which is coastline like Los Angeles but the harbor is located in the Long Beach area. You may make arrangements for transport through guest services with Carnival Cruise lines. Once aboard you may enjoy the amenities afforded you upon arrival as they will be prepared to serve you. The dining room is always open or you may want to explore the ship.

The fun begins once you step aboard but we dine together at the early dining hour of 6:00 pm.

The Official Meet and Greet takes place this evening in the form of a Cocktail Party. (time and location to be announced) There will be non alcoholic beverages as well but the goal of this friendly mixer to make sure that we get to meet each other. This is the only mixer sanctioned by Getting My Pretty Back where you are officially allowed and encouraged to network. Women supporting each other is not only important but it is an integral part of the essence of this group.

The rest of the evening belongs to you and I encourage you to take full advantage of the pleasantries afforded you on this informative and magical journey. Rest if you need to, but if not enjoy the comedy show or free yourself and do a little karaoke this is your weekend to full engage in fun.

Sunday Evening: The Reception Dinner "The Women In White" all ladies are encourage to wear white on this evening and please join us for the group photo.

Monday: We disembark this lovely experience but take with us the spirit of engagement while on our honeymoon periods. Don't forget to exchange phone numbers and addresses email and concrete. You've made some wonderful friends and great connections you do not want to lose contact with the sisters you met on this journey.

Meet Your Guest Presenters....

Dr, Tanya Morah is an Associate Professor of Communications at Wilberforce University where she also serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs. She holds a Bachelor's, two Masters and a Doctorate from Ohio State University.

She also earned national recognition in thePublic Relations Society of America's APR designation as an Accredited Public Relations Practitioner. She started WURS the campus radio station, the Communication Club, and I-Sight Magazine.

She is the owner of Quantum Leap Communications a marketing firm in Xenia Ohio. A lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a native of Cleveland Ohio and the pastor Universal Liberty in Christ Temple in Cleveland Ohio.

She is currently working on the completion of three books: Life is a Road called Straight: Good Girls, Bad Girls, Street Girls, God's Girls, and The Inward Dwellar.

Lady Patrice Smith is a proud member of the Music Ministerial Staff where she serves on the keyboard at Apostolic Faith Temple she also serves as the Administrative Assistant.

She is a teacher of Biblical Studies, a motivational speaker and an advocate for the gospel. She is long time music lover and began playing the piano around the age of ten.

She is a lover of the magic of words and a member of Poetry From God. She is currently writing her first book ...watch for it soon.

She holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree. Patrice is a native of Michigan where she resides with her husband of more than 25 years.
