Comforters For College Essay Contest Eligibility Requirement
Deadlines For Submission
Contestants may submit essays from 12:01 am February 1st, 2016 until 11:59 pm May 31st, 2016. which is to say the essay must be postmarked between these two calendar dates.
Rules
Essays must be typewritten in times new roman print with a font no larger than 14. Essays must be doubled spaced, with numbered pages in college format. Each contestant is only allowed one entry. All essay must answer the question: Why did you choose that major?
Regulation & Terms
This essay competition is open to all female high school graduating seniors in the state of California. A valid acceptance letter from the college you've been accepted to attend must accompany the essay. There are no minimum GPA requirements to enter the competition. A letter from your high school that says you're in good academic standing to matriculate in June of 2016 is also required. Your complete mailing address and email address must be on the cover page of the essay.
Conditions
If any portion of the required documents are missing or the presented work is plagiarized the contestants will be automatically dis-qualified. Winners agree to be photographed for Getting My Pretty Back website and various forms of social media.
Maximum Number Of Winners & Actual Prizes(20)
Getting My Pretty Back will award twenty young ladies with a wonderful afternoon of Preparing for College in a Big Way. Each winning contestant will be awarded an extra long twin comforter, one full set of extra long twin sheets, a full set of towels, cleaning supplies, a bulletin board, various personal items designed for feminine hygiene protection.
One Grand Prize Winner (1)
Winning contestant of the grand prize will receive all of the above along with additional sundries and a monetary gift card valued at no less than $100.00 to help her complete the dressing of her dormitory space.
Notification Of Winners
Winners will be notified via email and letter(s) of recognition and congratulations through USPS. Winners will announced Sunday July 3rd, 2016. Prizes will be awarded by Saturday August 14th, 2016 and an official list of all the winners will be posted on GettingMyPrettyBack.com and Getting My Pretty Back facebook and instagram pages.
